Silver RC ring designed by Finnish goldsmith Timo Mustajärvi.
Only a limited numbered number of these rings are made. However, you can choose the number yourself if it is still free (numbers 1 and 4 are already gone). The ring is made individually for everyone and you can also get your own initials on it, if you so wish. The ring weighs 31 gr and has ruby eyes.
Goldsmith Timo Mustajärvi works in Fiskars art community, where he has a workshop. This is how he describes his path to jewelry design:
"My story as a designer began in 1986, when I went to carpentry school. This was my starting point in the world of design. I have always been passionate about design. After graduating as a carpenter, I noticed that the material did not speak to me in the same way as stone and metal. I acquired my first jewelry supply after my employer at the time went bankrupt. The stones and tools I acquired were excellent and they started the path that I still wander today in the wonderful scenery of Fiskars Ruukki.
In 2000, I opened my own workshop in Suomenlinna, Helsinki. Suomenlinna, known as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, fueled my creativity on a whole new level. Before landing in Suomenlinna, I worked since 1997 in a workshop at the Lappeenranta fortress. I have been active at Fiskars community since 2002. All these beautiful environments have been an essential part of Jalo's design and story."
